Altra importante collaborazione rilasciata in questo proficuo novembre. Craig David lancia il suo nuovo singolo I Know You, in compagnia dei Bastille
Per avere tra le mani il settimo progetto discografico di Craig David, The Time Is Now, bisognerà attendere il 26 gennaio 2018. Dopo aver già ascoltato i primi estratti Heartline e For The Gram, David ora ha voluto giocarsi un pezzo da novanta del suo futuro progetto, il duetto con i Bastille.
I Know You, questo il titolo della collaborazione, è un’interessante mid-tempo pop dove l’inconfondibile stile dei Bastille si amalgama bene con il delicato timbro del cantante di 7 Days. Questo, volendo, nasconde anche un risvolto non troppo positivo, perché sembra quasi che si tratti di un singolo dei Bastille ft. Craig David, e non viceversa, dal momento che Dan Smith risulta prevalere nell’insieme. Al di là di questa semplice considerazione, il pezzo è comunque valido.
L’artista ed il gruppo avevano già avuto modo di collaborare in altre occasioni, ma fino ad ora sempre live. Finalmente questa stima reciproca mai nascosta ha portato più concretamente i suoi frutti, ecco qui il singolo I Know You:
